Forestry mulching is a gentler alternative to land clearing techniques like bulldozing or burning. A single machine can perform cutting, grinding, and dispersal in one pass, reducing labor, fuel, and equipment needs. This process supports wildlife habitat restoration and trail creation while maintaining ecological balance. Grinding vegetation in place reduces the spread of invasive plants, insects, and fungi. The mulch decomposes over time, enriching the soil with nutrients while keeping roots and topsoil intact to reduce erosion and preserve the natural ecosystem.

Our Services

Forestry Mulching

Our most popular service to reclaim your land. Clear woods, invasive brush, and overgrowth to improve property health and value. Our industrial mulcher grinds vegetation and trees up to 8 inches in diameter into mulch left on-site. It can also grind stumps up to 1 inch below the surface upon request.

Custom Trails

Professional 10-foot wide trail cutting for walking, ATV access, or shooting lanes without damaging the environment.

Material Delivery & Removal

Delivery of compost, loam, stone dust, or gravel, and removal of unwanted stumps, rocks, or storm debris.

Gravel Drives/Access Roads

Refresh existing driveways, remove potholes, and regrade access roads.

Invasive Species Management

Suppress and control bittersweet, ivy, vines, and more. Left untreated, invasive species quickly choke out native trees and destroy wildlife habitats.

What is forestry mulching?

A sustainable, cost-effective method for clearing land that targets brush without disturbing valuable tree trunks or roots.

What are the limitations?

Our equipment handles trees 6–8 inches in diameter; larger trees or rocky terrain may require alternative methods.

Is it right for me?

Ideal for landowners dealing with disappearing property lines, invasive vines, or safety hazards.

Is it the right time?

While growth accelerates in spring and summer, fall and winter are excellent for preventing storm damage and removing dead wood.

Does it prevent erosion?

Yes. Because there is no heavy excavation, soil remains stable, and the mulch acts as natural erosion control.
